About the Role
SecurityHQ is looking for an Associate Bid Manager to join our growing team and support the delivery of high-quality bid responses across our global business.
Working closely with Sales, Pre-Sales, and Technical teams, you will play a key role in coordinating customer tenders, proposals, and procurement requests, helping us showcase the value of our cybersecurity solutions to organizations around the world.
This is an excellent opportunity for someone with cybersecurity experience gained within an MSSP or MSP environment who is looking to further develop their career within a fast-growing global MSSP. Whether your background is in bid management, pre-sales, technical sales, or proposal delivery, you'll gain exposure to a wide range of cybersecurity services while working alongside experienced technical and commercial professionals.
This role is hybrid, 3 days per week in our Johannesburg office.

Responsibilities
- Coordinate and manage RFIs, RFPs, tenders, and proposal submissions.
- Collaborate with Sales, Pre-Sales, and technical stakeholders to gather and validate bid content.
- Develop and refine compelling customer-focused responses.
- Utilize AI-powered tools and existing content libraries to improve bid quality and efficiency.
- Manage multiple opportunities simultaneously, ensuring deadlines and quality standards are met.
- Support the continuous improvement of bid processes, templates, and reusable content.
- Build a strong understanding of SecurityHQ's services and how they solve customer challenges.
What We Are Looking For
- Previous cybersecurity experience is essential, either within an MSSP (Managed Security Services Provider) or MSP (Managed Service Provider) environment.
- Experience in bid management, proposal management, cybersecurity, MSSP, MSP, pre-sales, technical sales, or a similar environment.
- Strong written communication and stakeholder management skills.
- Excellent attention to detail and organizational ability.
- Ability to understand and communicate technical concepts.
- A proactive, collaborative, and process-driven approach.
- Genuine interest in cybersecurity and technology.
- Experience responding to tenders, RFIs, or RFPs would be advantageous.
- Eagerness to learn and develop within a growing global business.
