Associate Attorney – Plaintiff’s Personal Injury Jobs in Brooklyn, NY at Justice Law
A newly established and growing plaintiff’s personal injury law firm in Brooklyn, New York, is seeking a motivated Associate Attorney to join our litigation team.
The ideal candidate will have experience handling personal injury matters from intake through trial, including cases involving New York Labor Law, slip-and-fall incidents, motor vehicle accidents, workers’ compensation claims, and commercial accidents. Candidates must be comfortable managing an active caseload and working independently while collaborating with senior attorneys and support staff.

Responsibilities
- Manage personal injury cases from inception through resolution
- Conduct client intake, case investigation, and ongoing client communication
- Draft pleadings, motions, discovery demands and responses, and other legal documents
- Review medical records and evaluate damages
- Conduct and defend depositions
- Attend court appearances, conferences, hearings, and mediations
- Negotiate settlements with opposing counsel and insurance carriers
- Prepare cases for trial and assist with or conduct trials
- Maintain case deadlines and ensure compliance with court orders
- Work collaboratively with attorneys and support staff to effectively move cases toward resolution
Preferred Qualifications
- Admission to the New York State Bar
- Relevant plaintiff’s personal injury litigation experience
- Trial and trial-preparation experience
- Experience with Labor Law cases, slip-and-fall matters, motor vehicle accidents, workers’ compensation claims, and commercial accidents
- Strong legal research, writing, negotiation, and communication skills
- Ability to manage multiple cases and deadlines in a fast-paced environment
- Strong attention to detail and commitment to excellent client service
- Ability to work independently and take ownership of assigned matters
- Spanish-speaking ability is a plus

Schedule
- Full-time
- Monday through Friday
- 9:00 a.m. to 6:00 p.m.
- In-person position in Brooklyn, New York
This is an excellent opportunity for an attorney who wants meaningful litigation and trial experience while helping build and grow with an expanding plaintiff’s personal injury practice. The right candidate will have the opportunity to take on increasing responsibility, develop their own book of business, and directly participate in the firm’s long-term growth.
Pay: $100,000.00 – $200,000.00 per year
