Assistant Repairman – Hotel Jobs in Krugersdorp at Crew Life at Sea
Key Responsibilities:
– Assist in the maintenance and repair of all hotel equipment and facilities, including plumbing, electrical, HVAC, and carpentry work onboard the cruise ship
– Conduct routine inspections of hotel areas and equipment to identify any issues or potential problems
– Respond to guest requests for maintenance and repairs in a timely and professional manner
– Work closely with the Repairman to troubleshoot and resolve any technical issues
– Keep accurate records of maintenance and repairs performed
– Assist with inventory management and ordering of necessary supplies and equipment
– Follow all safety protocols and procedures to ensure a safe working environment
– Communicate effectively with other departments to coordinate repairs and maintenance work
– Participate in training and development programs to enhance your skills and knowledge
Requirements:
– High school diploma or equivalent
– Previous experience in maintenance or repair work preferred
– Basic knowledge of plumbing, electrical, HVAC, and carpentry work
– Ability to work independently and as part of a team
– Excellent problem-solving skills and attention to detail
– Strong communication and interpersonal skills
– Willingness to work flexible hours and respond to emergency calls as needed
– Must be physically fit and able to lift heavy objects
