POSITION INFO :
Support the Project Manager (PM) with all PM-related tasks associated with the contract.
The Assistant PM will support the Project Manager with Integration, Scope analysis, Cost control, Quality Management, Procurement Management and also assist with all Project Communication (reporting and meetings).
Collaborate closely with Project Administrators and Engineers to ensure effective project execution.
Manage the project schedule during the design phases.
Obtain updates from various disciplines.
Maintain a status dashboard of project progress.
Assist the PM with integration, scope analysis, cost control, quality management, and procurement management.
Support all project communication, including reporting and meetings.
Skills & Experience :
Project management experience in large, multi-disciplinary projects.
Knowledge and development of various forms of contract management.
Experience with FIDIC contracts.
Strong proficiency in Microsoft Office, including PowerPoint presentations and Excel (complex calculations and formulas).
Familiarity with Microsoft Project or Primavera P6.
Experience and knowledge in commercial terms and conditions and the basic Law of Contract.
High level of numeracy / cost forecasting skills and financial understanding skills.
Qualification :
BSc or BEng in Civil Engineering.
Professional Registered with ECSA.
Only South African Residents or individuals with a relevant South African work permit will be considered.
