Responsibilities
- Assist with bookkeeping, journal processing, and day-to-day financial administration
- Prepare and submit VAT returns and manage all SARS-related verifications and queries
- Prepare income statements and balance sheets to support accurate financial reporting
- Maintain the general ledger and perform reconciliations to ensure the integrity of financial records
- Manage utility schedules and rental management reporting
Qualifications
- BCom Degree in Accounting or Finance (essential)
- Minimum of 3 years experience in a senior accounting role
- Hospitality, entertainment, gaming, or property industry experience preferred
- Strong understanding of financial reporting, reconciliations, and statutory requirements
- Strong ERP systems exposure coupled with advanced Microsoft Excel skills
