A leading multinational Independent Power Producer (IPP) is seeking an experienced Asset Management, Budgeting & Reporting professional to join its growing renewable energy platform. Reporting directly to the Head of Asset Management, this role presents a unique opportunity to play a key part in driving financial oversight, operational performance, and stakeholder coordination across a dynamic renewable energy portfolio.
This position sits at the intersection of finance, operations, and strategic asset performance, making it ideal for a commercially minded professional who thrives in complex, fast-paced environments.
Position: Asset Management, Budgeting and Reporting
Location: Gauteng, Johannesburg
Qualifications:
- CA (SA) or equivalent
- Minimum 4 years post-articles experience
- Renewable Energy experience essential
Salary: R1.3mil to 1.4mil
Skills:
- SAP
- IPP environment
- Board and Shareholder management
- (PR, PO, SES processes essential)
- Strong financial modelling and analytical capability
Duties and Responsibilities:
- Driving budgeting, forecasting, and reporting processes across a renewable asset portfolio
- Bridging financial control with operational performance to support informed decision-making
- Monitoring asset performance and supporting financial and operational optimisation initiatives
- Coordinating with internal and external stakeholders to ensure reporting accuracy, compliance, and alignment across projects
- Enhancing governance, reporting frameworks, and performance visibility across operating assets
