Join our dynamic manufacturing team as an Assembly Operator-Mold Technician, where you’ll play a vital role in producing high-quality plastic components through precision assembly and mold management. Duties
- Set up, operate, and monitor plastic molding machines such as injection molding, extrusion, blow molding, and press brake equipment to produce quality parts.
- Manage mold changes efficiently, ensuring proper installation and alignment using hand tools and precision measurement instruments.
- Conduct quality inspections on finished products using dimensional measurements and measurement tools to verify specifications.
- Troubleshoot mechanical issues with molds, robotic systems, CNC lathes, and other industrial equipment to minimize downtime.
- Perform routine maintenance on machinery and molds following safety protocols to ensure optimal performance.
- Handle materials safely within the warehouse environment, including materials handling of plastics resins and finished parts.
- Document production data accurately, including measurements, machine settings, and inspection results for quality control records.
Requirements
- Proven experience in plastics production processes such as injection molding, blow molding, or extrusion; plastics manufacturing experience is highly preferred.
- Strong mechanical knowledge with the ability to operate CNC lathes, press brake machines, robotic systems, and other industrial equipment.
- Familiarity with programmable logic controllers (PLCs) for machine automation control.
- Ability to perform precision measurements using calipers, micrometers, and other measurement instruments for quality inspection.
- Hands-on experience with hand tools and fabrication techniques necessary for mold setup and adjustments.
- Knowledge of safety protocols related to machine operation, materials handling, and industrial environments.
- Basic math skills for measuring dimensions and calculating machine settings or adjustments.
- Warehouse experience or familiarity with materials handling procedures is a plus.

Pay: $26.00 – $28.00 per hour
