Kelly® is hiring Assembly Assistants to join a radio manufacturing team in Elgin, IL. No previous experience is required—we provide training! If you’re dependable, detail-oriented, and ready to learn new skills, this could be a great opportunity to get started in manufacturing.
Pay & Schedule
- 1st Shift: Monday–Friday, 6:00 AM–2:15 PM — $17.50/hour
- 2nd Shift: Monday–Friday, 2:45 PM–11:00 PM — $19.00/hour
What You’ll Do
- Assemble 2-way radios and telecommunications equipment
- Scan job orders, pick parts, and label products according to instructions
- Inspect products for quality, including screens, buttons, and labels
- Keep your work area clean and organized
- Assist other departments as needed
What You’ll Need
- No manufacturing experience required—training provided!
- Ability to stand and move throughout the shift
- Strong attention to detail
- Ability to lift up to 35 lbs. independently or heavier items with a team
- Reliable attendance and a positive attitude
- Willingness to learn and cross-train in different roles
- Ability to work well in a fast-paced team environment
