Location: Benonie
Our client who deals with installations and repairing starter systems is looking for an Assembler to join their dynamic team. They are based in Midrand and looking for an individual that will contribute efficiently to the team on a temporary basis.
Key Responsibilities:
Assemble components and parts to complete products following blueprints or specifications
Perform quality checks and inspections on finished products to ensure they meet all requirements
Operate machinery and tools as required in the assembly process
Maintain a clean and organized workspace
Work closely with supervisors and other team members to ensure timely production
Follow all safety protocols and company guidelines to prevent accidents and maintain workplace safety
Report any issues or delays in the production process to supervisors
Requirements:
Matric (Grade 12) – Technical training would be essential
Previous experience in an assembly role, ideally within a manufacturing or industrial setting
Basic understanding of machinery, tools, and manufacturing processes
Ability to read and interpret technical drawings or blueprints
Strong attention to detail and problem-solving skills
Ability to work overtime from time to time
Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and meet production deadlines
