Asphalt Laborer Jobs in Wilmington, NC at Asphalt Maintenance
Job Responsibilities:
- Assist in sealcoating, crack filling, line striping, and asphalt repair projects
- Operate small equipment, blowers, and hand tools safely and efficiently
- Help prep job sites by cleaning surfaces, taping off areas, and setting cones/signs
- Load/unload materials and maintain a clean, organized work truck/trailer
- Follow directions from crew leaders and maintain a positive team attitude
- Work outdoors in various weather conditions
Requirements:
- Valid driver’s license preferred
- Ability to lift 50+ lbs and perform physically demanding work
- Willingness to work some evenings/weekends when needed
- Previous asphalt, construction, or labor experience is a plus, but not required — we’ll train the right person
Job Type: Full-time
Pay: $22.56 – $27.17 per hour
Experience:
- asphalt or sealcoating: 1 year (Preferred)
License/Certification:
- Driver’s License (Preferred)
