Exciting Opportunity for an Experienced Instrumentation Technician
Are you a skilled Instrumentation Technician with expertise in a fast-paced industrial environment? Our client is seeking a proactive professional to join their engineering instrumentation team and play a critical role in ensuring equipment uptime and operational efficiency through maintenance, repairs, and automation.
Key Responsibilities
Perform maintenance, fault-finding, and repairs on instrumentation equipment.
Develop and program PLCs (preferably Schneider) and SCADA mimic pages (preferably Adroit Classic).
Conduct plant inspections and address safety and maintenance concerns.
Execute project work and ensure compliance with safety and quality standards.
Monitor equipment performance and implement improvements.
Minimum Requirements
N3/Matric with Mathematics and Science.
National Diploma in Electrical Engineering (Light Current) or Process Instrumentation.
Trade Certification as an Instrumentation Artisan.
3-4 years’ experience in an industrial environment.
Advanced PLC and SCADA programming skills.
Computer literacy (Intermediate to Advanced).
IT networking experience (Ethernet).
Valid driver’s license.
Must be able to work in hazardous environments and able to work standby.
