Qualifications
- Grade 12
- Full N2 certificate with relevant trade theory
- Mechanical trade certificate.
Skills Requirements
- 3 years’ experience in heavy industry which includes 1 year in a senior position
- Experience in Crushers, Pumps, vibrator feeders and Conveyor Belts
- SAP, Coupa and Isometrix knowledge
- Computer literacy
- Good verbal and written communication skills
JOB OBJECTIVES
In this role you will be responsible to the Superintendent (Engineering) for the following:
- Ensuring safety compliance in the section
- Coordination of the Mechanical team, which includes controlling of operational activities, personnel, budgets and HSEQ systems compliance
- Ensuring implementation of management decisions, legal requirements, and company standards / procedures
- Maintain discipline in the issuing, receiving, and capturing of PM orders continuously
- Ensuring plant spares availability, maintain spares stock levels, managing and reporting critical spares, managing special equipment and tools for artisans.
- Attend to Breakdowns
- Preventative Maintenance
- Planned maintenance
- Plant maintenance shutdown planning and execution
