Epol is looking for a talented Artisan Assistant to assist with daily maintenance and construction work.
Required Qualifications:
- Grade 12 or equivalent literacy and numeracy level, or N3
Required Experience:
- Previous experience in a production environment, minimum of 3 months
Required Knowledge and Skills:
- Basic Computer Literacy
- Physically fit
- High level of honesty and integrity
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team
- Basic hand tools experience
- Overtime as required
Key responsibilities of the role:
- Do daily line inspections and give feedback.
- React timeously to breakdowns.
- Do mechanical maintenance.
- Basic Boiler making
- Assist artisans with overhauling and assembling equipment.
- Adhere to safety rules and regulations.
- Perform ad hoc tasks as required by Mill operations and/or designated by Mill Management.
