Join our dedicated security team as an Armed Security Guard, working Monday through Friday from 7:30 a.m. to 4:00 p.m. in a dynamic environment where safety, vigilance, and professionalism are paramount. * MUST HAVE ARMED GUARD LICENSE for at least 2 YEARS*
Duties
- Conduct regular patrols of the premises using physical patrols to ensure safety and security.
- Monitor access control systems to authorize and restrict entry for employees, visitors, contractors, and vendors.
- Respond promptly to security incidents or emergencies by following established protocols and coordinating with law enforcement or emergency responders as needed.
- Write detailed incident reports documenting suspicious activities, security breaches, or accidents with clarity and accuracy.
- Perform background checks on new personnel or visitors when required, ensuring compliance with security policies.
- Utilize conflict de-escalation techniques to manage disputes calmly and effectively while maintaining safety for all parties involved.
- (Preferred but not required) Operate specialized equipment such as Taser devices, firearms (where authorized), AEDs (Automated External Defibrillators), and perform first aid or CPR in emergency situations.
Skills
- Proven experience in surveillance techniques systems and physical patrolling methods.
- Background in military service, law enforcement, or previous security roles demonstrating strong discipline and situational awareness.
- Certified in first aid, CPR, AED operation, and trained in emergency response procedures.
- Skilled in incident report writing with attention to detail for legal and safety documentation purposes.
- Knowledge of firearm handling protocols aligned with compliance standards.
- Excellent customer service skills combined with conflict management capabilities to handle sensitive situations professionally.
- Physical fitness for manual handling tasks such as prolonged patrolling periods.
