Position: Area Sales Manager based in KZN
To represent CTSA in Gauteng, with regards to all sales activities. Building and maintaining relationships with allocated customers as well as new potential customers. Actively seek to grow CTSA’s Share of Profit (SoP) in your designated area while maintaining the company’s values. Execute in line with the sales strategy and channel directive.
Main Task Areas:
Area Profiling – Identify and monitor the total number of customers/dealers and points of purchase within the designated area. Establish footprint & share of business by channel. Evaluate total tyres sold in the area by volume and segment.
Prospecting and Selection of New Business – Identify white spots, select prospects, and maintain a prospects list within categories ABCD.
Dealer Assessment – Define each dealer’s business and conduct SWOT analysis.
Compose Value Proposition – Develop a value proposition referencing key elements.
Contracting and Negotiating – Agree on visit cycles, key objectives, volume commitments, and share of account targets.
Credit Account Management
Execute and Track Business Development
Confirm Value Proposition – Compile a tracking report.
Your Profile:
BCom/ND in Business Administration or Finance-related field.
2 to 5 years of sales, marketing, and technical experience.
Understanding of sales, forecasts, and logistics processes.
2 years of project team coordination experience.
