Job Description
Areas of Responsibility:
• Customer Experience
o Support management of customer experience activities to ensure customer loyalty
o Ensure that the visual presentation of all stores represents the brand image as per company directives
o Manage customer interactions, complaints and requests
• Business Leadership
o Develop effective business plans to address performance challenges
o Invite feedback and seek continual personal development opportunities
o Be aware of competitor activity and local market trends and conditions
o Make appropriate and innovative recommendations to drive the business forward
• Lead, Develop and Retain Team Members
o Create a positive and enabled environment for team members
o Develop and coach the team
o Effectively manage performance through compliance with internal performance development processes, the Wellness Training Academy and any required IR interventions
• Store Performance
o Achieve and exceed targeted sales and profit targets
o Achieve and exceed gross profit targets through effective waste and stock management
o Effectively manage income statements
o Liaise with the Merchandise team regarding stock efficiencies
o Support the successful implementation of all promotional campaigns
o Ensure internal audits are conducted against operational requirements
o Ensure that all stores adhere to compliance requirements in all areas of operational

Requirements
Job Specifications
• Grade 12
• Relevant retail or business-related degree/diploma (advantageous)
• 2-4+ Years retail area management experience
• Strong analytical skills
• Ability to lead, coach and develop others
• Highly organized with the ability to adapt quickly to change
• A good understanding of labor relations and disciplinary procedures
• Valid driver’s license and own transport
