Application
Leadership
:
Take ownership of the full application lifecycle, from development and maintenance to seamless integration.
Strategic Vision
:
Contribute to the development and implementation of a technology roadmap, balancing existing systems with
modern
solutions. Alignment & Governance:
Ensure application strategies align with business goals, security protocols, and regulatory requirements. Performance & Availability:
Maintain high levels of application availability, scalability, and performance. Team & Vendor Management:
Lead and mentor a team of technical professionals, and manage relationships with external technology vendors. Development & Integration Oversight:
Oversee application development, ensuring best practices are followed and smooth integration between systems. Compliance & Security:
Ensure applications adhere to financial regulations and internal governance policies, and contribute to robust security measures.
Continuous Improvement
:
Monitor application performance, lead incident resolution, and identify opportunities for process and technology enhancements. What You’ll Bring: A minimum of 8 years of experience in application development and management. 3+ years of
leadership
experience, ideally within a financial services or banking environment. A Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field. Solid experience managing a range of applications, including legacy and
modern
systems, as well as third-party vendor applications.
A strong understanding of technologies relevant to financial services, including security and compliance.
Experience with
application integration. Proven ability to lead and manage cross-functional development teams. Excellent skills in prioritizing tasks, managing projects, and meeting deadlines.
Strong communication skills
to effectively collaborate with both technical teams and business stakeholders.
