The purpose of the Application Specialist is to focus on long-term relationships with end-users in Public sector and to provide clinical and product training relating to Pressure Injury Prevention and Therapeutic Mattress product training.
Core Responsibilities
Daily ward rounds in Public Facilities to identify areas where training is required
Coordinating and providing product training to all end-user and covering all shifts – formal and on-the spot
Acknowledging and resolving customer complaints timeously
Liaising with Hospital Clinical Engineering and maintenance team to resolve repair challenges.
Effective territory coverage
Compiling a install base of all therapeutic mattresses
Collaborating with Arjo Service team on handling repairs
Conducting Pressure Injury Assessments in hospitals
The candidate must be able to work outside office hours, when required.
Documenting of hospital database and install base of therapeutic mattresses
Grow the business through:
Clinical education
Clinical assessment services
Ward rounds to ensure all end users are trained and able to use the therapeutic mattresses correctly
Qualification, Knowledge, Skills And Abilities
Minimum of 2 years’ experience in clinical healthcare environment
Clinical Practitioner in the field of nursing or similar
Prior training experience a plus.
Strong Clinical knowledge
Basic computer literacy skills in MS Excel and Outlook
Valid driver’s license (Code 08/EB)
Excellent communication skills
Customer Service Orientated
Fluent in African language will be an advantage
