Job Overview
This position will oversee projections, orders, suppliers, timelines, and samples – essentially ensuring smooth production and fulfillment.
Ideal Candidate Profile
Experience:
5-10+ years in apparel manufacturing, supply chain management, or production planning (preferably in the music/touring merch industry).
Knowledge of global and local apparel supply chains (Mauritius, South Africa, etc.).
Experience with supplier negotiation and cost management.
Key Skills:
Manufacturing & Production Planning – Managing factory timelines, ensuringquality control, and aligning with TGMLIVE’s needs.
Supply ChainOptimization– Managing raw materials, logistics, and supplier relationships efficiently.
Forecasting & Projections – Ability to predict demand based on tour schedules, artist campaigns, and seasonal trends.
Negotiation & Vendor Management – Securing the best deals and ensuring production consistency.
Process & Operations Management – Strong at building streamlined systems for sampling, approvals, and bulk production.
Software Proficiency – Experience with ERP systems (or willingness to implement one), production tracking tools, and inventory software.
Personality & Work Ethic:
Detail-oriented, highly organized, and deadline-driven.
Strongproblem-solving skillsto handle production delays or quality issues.
Ability to work under pressure, especially with tight tour deadlines.
Goodcommunication skillsfor liaising with suppliers, designers, and logistics teams.
Entrepreneurialmindset—able to scale and optimize operations without constant oversight.
