Location: Brakpan
Aluminium manufacturer & fitter to start immediately.
Must be a self-starter and be able to work unsupervised and reach production targets. This is a contract position till June 2025 with a possibility of being extended.
Requirements:
Must have full knowledge for the manufacturing and installation of aluminium shopfronts, doors and windows with glazing.
Minimum of 4 years experience in the same position. NOT NEGOTIABLE.
Valid driver’s licence and own transport essential.
Duties:
Manufacturing and installation done on site and factory. This is a hands-on role and the employee will be both site and factory based.
Must be a self-starter, and able to operate electric tools such as drills, cut saws, circular saws, and crimping and bending machines.
Must be confident in using all types of hand tools, and use of tape measure, spirit level, and laser level.
Must have strong mechanical & manufacturing background and general knowledge of construction methods and practices.
Quality control on manufactured and installed products.
Able to work at heights (ladders, scaffolding, and cherry pickers).
Clean and sober habits with pride in work ethics.
Above requirements are specific to the glass and aluminium trade.
Salary will be discussed with qualifying candidates in interview.
