Incomar is looking for a motivated individual to join the Aircraft Maintenance Team. This individual will be responsible for providing both administrative and financial support to the Aircraft Maintenance Organisation (AMO) under the management of Incomar.
Required Qualifications
Grade 12 or equivalent qualification.
Required Skills And Experience
Good planning and administrative skills.
Must be able to work in a team environment.
Computer literate, including Microsoft Outlook, Excel, and Word.
Must be available and willing to travel at short notice, locally.
Sound understanding of technical publications and documentation.
Understanding of Civil Aviation Regulations and Technical Standards.
Working knowledge of stores system.
Valid driver’s license, Code B.
Strong problem-solving skills and attention to detail.
Excellent analytical and organisational skills.
Outstanding written and verbal communication skills.
Responsibilities
The candidate will be required to perform various administrative duties including, but not limited to:
Avdex store function and store management control.
Tool management and control.
Planning of CoA, ATF and Radio License application requirements.
Work Order compilation and quality control.
Record keeping of all aircraft documentation and logbooks.
Implementing and adhering to strict safety guidance.
Creating and maintaining repair logs and records.
Ensuring that all aircraft parts are accurately labelled, organised, and stored.
Keep work area clean and safe.
Use, maintain and store company-provided tools and equipment in safe and proper manner.
General office management duties.
Work in accordance with the Incomar Quality Management System.
Contribute towards the continuous improvement of the Incomar Quality Management System.
Take all the necessary steps to ensure that all non-compliances on both safety and quality issues within your area of responsibility are identified and reported timeously.
The candidate will be required to perform financial duties including, but not limited to:
Assist maintenance manager with administrative responsibility tasks on the Maintenance Management System (Avdex) and the Procurement system. These tasks include, but are not limited to the following:
Updating and maintaining customer information on Avdex.
Authorise completed work packs and verify information for accuracy.
Communicate with the applicable finance administrator regarding authorised jobs that are
ready to be invoiced.
Update the applicable finance administrator when new work packs are created.
Send Avdex purchase orders through to suppliers (After payment received from customer).
Send supplier orders (including all necessary information) through to the applicable
procurement officer to process on the Procurement system.
Attend meetings with the finance department when needed and give necessary feedback regarding information required.
