Cleanse Aesthetics is looking for a qualified and experienced Somatologist to join our growing team.
This is a full-time position working across our Ferndale and Fourways clinics. The successful candidate will alternate weekly between the two locations, spending one week at each clinic.
About the role
You will perform professional aesthetic treatments while delivering the warm, knowledgeable and results-focused client experience for which Cleanse Aesthetics is known.
Treatments may include:
- Laser hair removal
- Advanced facials
- Chemical peels
- Microneedling
- Dermaplaning
- Body treatments
- Other advanced aesthetic treatments offered by the clinic
Key responsibilities
- Perform treatments safely and professionally according to clinic protocols
- Conduct thorough consultations and recommend suitable treatment plans
- Educate clients about treatments, expected results and aftercare
- Build strong, long-term client relationships
- Confidently recommend treatment packages and home-care products
- Follow up with clients and encourage rebooking
- Maintain accurate client records and treatment notes
- Keep treatment rooms clean, prepared and hygienic
- Assist with treatment demonstrations and social media content when required
- Work towards individual and clinic performance targets
- Participate in ongoing training and professional development
Minimum requirements
- A completed Somatology qualification is essential
- ITEC and/or CIDESCO accreditation is preferred
- A minimum of two to three years’ practical experience in the aesthetics industry is essential
- Practical experience in laser hair removal and advanced aesthetic treatments
- Strong consultation, client-care and communication skills
- Confident recommending treatment plans, packages and products
- Professional, well-groomed, reliable and punctual
- Willing to learn and follow established clinic protocols
- Able to work independently and as part of a team
- Comfortable working at both the Ferndale and Fourways clinics
- Reliable personal transport is essential
- Available to work full-time, Tuesday to Saturday
Please note: This position is only open to qualified Somatology graduates with at least two to three years of relevant aesthetics experience.
