Hospital Pharmacy News (HPN) and the Hospital Pharmacy Honours (HPH) are a publishing and event management company in the healthcare and pharmaceutical sector in Ireland. Hospital Pharmacy News, Established in 2008, has built an unrivalled reputation over the past 14 years for its exclusive news reporting, provocative opinion, and expert clinical content.

The successful applicant will work as part of a dynamic team, supporting client relationships to achieve some incredible results through selling advertising across print, online and events!

Roles and responsibilities:

Prepare proposals and deliver client correspondence; help to create competitive commercial packages and ensure clients are up-to-date on any rates and commercial deals

Nurturing working relationships with customers to understand their needs and provide suitable commercial solutions

Liaise with the editorial executive and review articles to ensure the magazine’s content is commercial

Updating client records, CRM system

Discussing complex packages with senior stakeholders

Source new business leads by generating new clients or proposing new media/commercial advertising services

Process inbound leads effectively

Achieve all KPI’s and revenue targets

Build sales pipeline, negotiating, and closing sales deals

Responsible for securing sponsorship for Continuous Professional Development modules

Responsible for securing sponsorship for Hospital Professional Awards.

Essential skills and experience:

Minimum of 3 years’ experience in B2B sales/ account management/outbound telesales

Print and Digital experience minimum 3 years

Experience in pharmaceuticals would be an advantage

Have a nurturing, collaborative approach to work and a strong work ethic

Excellent phone manner and writing skills

Experience delivering outstanding customer service

Experience building supportive relationships with colleagues, clients and creating a positive working environment

Managing key accounts

Job Types: Full-time, Permanent

Pay: R484 388,00 – R600 000,00 per year
