Admitted Attorney – Legal Collections Jobs in Johannesburg at iLaunch
Manage consumer credit legal collections
Supervise call centre staff in debt recovery
Ensure accurate execution of litigation processes
Prepare and analyse reports, manage data washing and documentation
Attend court as needed
Invoicing
Import matters daily from Swordfish and Excalibur
Prepare weekly meetings and forecast monthly on the card and PLL
Plan monthly strategy and campaign collection drives
Draft and schedule settlement campaigns
Data wash and send out s129 letters electronically
Maintain legal templates
Check legal steps, prescription reports, RDJS, agent performance, loading payments, and ad hoc reports.
Company Secretarial : annual returns, attending director changes, drafting share registers, minutes and resolutions and issuing share certificates.
Deceased Estates : attending client meetings, drafting documentation and accounts and following up with creditors and debtors.
Litigation : attending meetings, attending court appearances, serving and filing documents and following up on matters’ progress
Qualified Admitted Attorney in South Africa.
Experience in legal collections or credit litigation
Familiarity with consumer credit matters and debt recovery processes
Ability to manage and supervise a call centre team focused on recoveries
Experience with invoicing and billing platforms (GhostPractice, ARIBA)
Experience with legal software and tools, particularly Swordfish and Excalibur.
Proficient in data analysis (including forecasting, campaign reporting, and performance metrics).
Comfortable leading strategy meetings and engaging with clients and stakeholders.
Able to attend court and handle correspondence and litigation work.
Knowledge of deceased estate administration.
Basic knowledge of company secretarial work (e.g. annual returns, director changes, share register updates).
