This is an exciting opportunity to join our team in South Africa as we continue to grow and expand into new areas of ticketing. This role is based in Cape Town, but you may service a number of territories we operate in i.e. South Africa, the UK, US and Europe. About the role
We are looking for an accounts payable executive who will be responsible for all client payments and client financial reporting. The successful candidate will be an ambitious and organised individual with excellent communication skills and mathematical aptitude. This is a hybrid role based in our Cape Town office at least 3 days per week. The Accounts Payable Executive will work closely with our client services teams in SA and the UK and report to the Senior Account Payables Manager.
Requirements
Previous experience in an accounts payable or finance role.
Demonstrable knowledge of banking infrastructure and accounting systems.
Precision and strong attention to detail.
Ability to multi-task with excellent attention to detail and organisational skills.
Excellent documentation and communication skills.
You must have an existing right to work in South Africa.
Key Responsibilities
Processing daily client payments.
Building and sending out payment summaries for clients.
Liaising with the client operations and finance teams to devise and develop financial reporting for clients.
Preparing client payments reports and summaries for internal analysis.
Facilitating payment of events in various countries.
Overseeing dispute management and refunds.
Working with the product team to improve financial reporting for clients in our tech stack.
Helping develop systems and processes to automate payments and reporting.
Experience
You will have 1-2 years of experience in a similar role
You will have a University degree
