SUMMARY:

Step into a high-energy, versatile financial position where you manage the dual engines of cash flow, debtors and creditors, for a rapidly expanding national entertainment and venue enterprise.

POSITION INFO:

A prominent and flourishing market leader within the dynamic events, hospitality, and venue management sector is looking to appoint a systematically sharp, execution-minded Accounts & Finance Administrator. This role is perfectly structured for a versatile finance professional who rejects rigid corporate silos, handles high transaction volumes with ease, and enjoys bridging the gap between numbers and front-line business operations. Operating at the heart of a fast-paced corporate office, you will move far beyond static ledger management to take total ownership of the transactional life cycle. You will act as a critical cross-functional partner, working hand-in-hand with regional operational managers, event coordinators, vendors, and corporate clients to maximize working capital efficiency and secure data accuracy. For an ambitious administrator seeking an established corporate platform that offers daily variety, strong logistical exposure, and a collaborative team culture, this hospitality giant provides an exceptional career destination. Key Responsibilities: End-to-End Billing & Receivables Governance: Formulate and dispatch accurate corporate customer tax invoices aligned to complex event agreements, proactively direct debtor collections, and manage precise receipt allocations and aging analysis. Supplier & Payables Stewardship: Capture and verify high-volume vendor invoices, perform intricate creditor reconciliations, resolve account anomalies swiftly, and prepare structured weekly or monthly payment runs within agreed commercial credit terms. Taxation & Ledger Alignment: Ensure accurate VAT treatment across all incoming and outgoing transactions, process standard general ledger adjustments, and actively support the month-end closing cycle. Audit Readiness & Process Engineering: Assemble comprehensive transaction schedules for external audit reviews, maintain airtight internal control documentation, and collaborate on initiatives to streamline financial reporting workflows. Job Experience and Skills Required: A completed tertiary Degree or National Diploma in Accounting, Finance, or a closely related commercial field. 2 to 4 years of solid, reference-backed success handling full-function accounts receivable, accounts payable, or general bookkeeping activities. Direct experience operating within high-volume transactional landscapes, ideally hospitality, events, large-scale retail, or fast-moving service industries, is highly beneficial. Strong foundational knowledge of corporate VAT compliance rules combined with intermediate to advanced operational command of Microsoft Excel and modern bookkeeping platforms. Assertive and professional communication skills necessary to navigate delicate client and vendor discussions, sharp organizational habits to balance multi-event deadlines, and an uncompromising eye for numerical detail.
