Position Overview:
Royal Tyres is a proud, established business that has been in existence for over 80 years. Its strategic aims are geared towards accelerated growth and expansion in a fast changing anddynamic environment. As such, there is a need to support the people business goals and build on the existing practices by growing the team. This newly developed role is expected to assist the business with providing accurate accounting function as Junior Accountant.
The ideal candidate will be expected to assist with maintaining effective and efficient accounting records and support and develop talent in line with the company’s vision and mission. The person will also be responsible for administrative tasks and is therefore expected to be computer literate.
Qualifications, Skills, Experience &
Competencies:
REQUIRED:
At least 1 to 2 years SAP Experience.
Understanding of Debtors and Creditors.
Proficient in MS Excel.
Experience with corporate/business insurance accounts.
Outstanding organizational and time-management abilities.
Supplier management.
Management of company motor fleet, both commercial and passenger.
Maintenance of financial accounts, which must have included reconciling and posting ledgers, journals, and other accounting records.
Excellentcommunicationand interpersonal skills; strong team player.
Problem-solvingand decision-making aptitude.
Attention to detailand ownership and accountability of work.
Strong ethics and reliability.
Results-oriented.
The ability to work in a fast-changing environment without supervision.
