Full Job Description
A dynamic and growing firm of accountants and tax practitioners in Illovo, Johannesburg are looking for competent and responsible accounting trainees.
Qualifications and experience required:
· Must have a BCOM Accounting Degree or similar.
· Must commit for a period of 3 years to complete a SAIPA Learnership.
· Xero accounting experience would be an advantage

Duties & Responsibilities
Bookkeeping from source documents up to trial balance.
Prepare and submit payroll and VAT returns (EMP201, VAT201, EMP501, etc).
Complete Tax Returns (Companies, Individuals, Trusts, NPCs).
Liaising with government departments, including SARS, CIPC, COIDA, UIF, etc.
Liaising with clients regarding accounting and taxation needs.
Preparing financial statements, reconciling bank statements or general ledgers, and bookkeeping.
Processing and allocating Bank Statements.
Data capturing.
Duties and responsibilities are not limited to the above mentioned.
