Job Description
We are seeking a detail-oriented and experienced Accounting Specialist for our client. The ideal candidate will be responsible for maintaining and updating financial records, ensuring accuracy and compliance with accounting standards. This role requires strong analytical skills, proficiency in accounting software, and a thorough understanding of bookkeeping and financial management within a manufacturing environment.
Key Responsibilities
Maintain and update financial records, ensuring accuracy and compliance with regulations.
Handle bookkeeping tasks, including accounts payable and receivable.
Manage accounts payable, including invoice processing and vendor payments.
Prepare financial statements, reports, and reconciliations.
Process invoices, payments, and track expenses.
Assist with budgeting, forecasting, and financial analysis.
Ensure compliance with tax regulations and financial policies.
Reconcile bank statements and monitor cash flow.
Collaborate with other departments to optimize financial efficiency.
Requirements
Proven experience in accounting and bookkeeping, preferably in the manufacturing industry.
Proficiency in Microsoft Excel (VLOOKUP, Pivot Tables, etc.).
Strong attention to detail and excellent organizational skills.
Knowledge of accounting software (e.g., Quick Books, Xero, or similar).
Ability to analyze financial data and generate reports.
Excellent communication and problem-solving skills.
Bachelors degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field preferred.
