Description:
A multinational corporation specializing in optical, imaging, and industrial is urgently looking for an Accounting Manager to join their tech-savvy and diverse finance team on a 12-month contract basis. This role will require an individual with a passion for accounting practices, economic principles, applicable laws, codes and regulations, and auditing practices.
Key Responsibilities:
Manage the financial record keeping, reporting, tax filing, and other accounting functions for the organization.
Ensure the accounting policies and practices of the organization.
Oversee and evaluate the activities of the accounting staff.
Prepare or lead the preparation of reports which summarize and forecast business activity and financial position.
Produce accurate and timely financial reports for internal and external use in accordance with GAAP and in compliance with the Sarbanes-Oxley Act.
As you will be required to hit the ground running, extensive experience is essential.
Requirements:
Qualification: CA(SA) with completed board exams.
Experience: 8 years accounting experience.
Knowledge: GAAP and Sox.
Skills Required: Excellent analytical and communication skills, excellent collaborative skills, ownership and accountability.
