SAIPA Article Clerk
We are a Professional Accountants Firm and SAIPA member with the South Africa Institute of Professional Accounts (SAIPA) and are looking for a clerk pursuing a career as a Professional accountant.
Location:
Durbanville, Cape Town
Duties:
Capture transactions in accounting records.
Perform reconciliations.
Perform tax calculations and complete tax returns.
Complete VAT returns.
Assist accountants with various client matters, including administrative work.
Resolve queries.
Perform bookkeeping to balance sheet.
Interpreting clients’ accounting records and compiling financial statements.
Qualifications:
Matric
B.Com (Accounting) / B.Compt Degree or in the process of starting studies.
Desired skills:
Computer literate (Microsoft Office).
Must be fluent in English and Afrikaans.
Self-motivated and a high attention to detail.
Experience using some Accounting Software beneficial.
Valid Driver’s License.
Team Player.
