Position: Accountant (Retail / Commercial), Lesotho
We are seeking an Accountant for a permanent role based in Lesotho.
POSITION INFO :
Applicants are required to meet the following criteria :
Grade 12 with Degree in financial accounting
5+ years’ experience as an accountant in a commercial (retail) environment
Valid drivers and willing to travel when needed
The successful applicant would be responsible for, but not limited to :
Prepare and analyse financial statements
Manage tax compliance and prepare cash flow forecasts
Oversee bank reconciliations, journals entries and fixed asset management
Coordinate with external auditors and maintain financial compliance
Budgeting and planning – operational plans, budgets and long-term forecasts
Team management – supervise staff, and provide guidance
Handle insurance claims, manage stationery orders and support the GM with financial queries
Cost control – identify reduction / improvement areas
Streamline accounting processes
Organizational tax planning
Salary : R30000.00 – R35000.00 per month
