Job & Company Descriptions
They are seeking a highly capable and technically strong Accountant to take ownership of the finance function within a fast-paced, project-driven technology environment. The role focuses on end-to-end financial reporting, group consolidations, and ensuring strong compliance across multiple entities.
Duties:
- Prepare accurate financial reports
- Oversee full month-end and year-end close processes
- Manage general ledger integrity, reconciliations, and resolution of discrepancies
- Ensure compliance with IFRS, tax legislation, and internal financial controls
- Manage accounts payable and receivable processes
- Monitor cash flow and support effective treasury management
- Prepare statutory submissions including VAT and corporate tax requirements
Qualifications & skills:
- BCom Accounting or equivalent 3-year degree
- Completed SAICA articles
- Strong knowledge of IFRS and South African tax regulations
- Experience working with auditors and tax authorities
- Advanced Microsoft Excel skills
- Someone who is passionate about software and technology, eager to learn, and stay ahead of emerging trends
