A proud investee company based in Stellenbosch, is looking for an Accountant to join their team.
As an Accountant, you’ll be managing end-to-end bookkeeping, tax, payroll, and financial reporting using cutting-edge tools like Xero, Syft, and Simple Pay, while partnering with SMEs to simplify compliance, elevate insights, and spark smarter decision-making through automation and strategic advisory.
Key Responsibilities:
Manage day-to-day bookkeeping and process transactions accurately using Xero.
Prepare monthly reconciliations and ensure financial reporting aligns with compliance standards.
Draft financial statements and compile detailed management reports.
Handle VAT submissions, payroll processing, and all relevant tax filings efficiently.
Leverage Xero and other digital tools to automate and streamline accounting workflows.
Collaborate with clients to interpret financial data and identify opportunities for operational improvements.
Support SMEs in refining financial systems and driving greater efficiency through tailored advisory.
Qualifications and
Experience:
Newly Qualified PA(SA) OR AGA (SA) OR In-progress CIMA
0 – 3 years of PQE
Xero experience is highly preferred, and additional cloud – base software is advantageous
Strong communication and interpersonal skills
A proactive individual with a strong desire to grow, continuously learn, and confidently embrace new challenges.
Salary:
R25 000 – R35 000 / month (based on relevant experience)
