New opportunity for an Accountantexperienced in operational accounting or finance, within logistics, hospitality, or tourism industries to join this leading international business based at their Johannesburg hub.

As Accountant you’llserve as the key finance member, responsible for ensuring the accuracy & timeliness of financial processes including creditors, billing, collections, month-end reporting, procurement, cost-saving initiatives & budgeting.

This position would suit an Accountant with a strong sense of ownership & accountability, highly adaptable to changing priorities, with a proactive, solutions-driven mindset.

Responsibilities:

  • Assist the Finance Manager with special projects, including business cases, capital projects, and cost-saving strategies

    • Qualifications:

  • Diploma or Degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field
  • Part-qualified/qualified professional accountant (e.g., SAIPA, SAICA, CIMA) advantageous
  • Proficiency in Excel and accounting/ERP systems (SAP/Navision experience advantageous)

    • Experience:

  • 2 years’ experience in operational accounting/finance, preferably in logistics, hospitality, or tourism industries
  • Strong experience in creditors, billing, & collections processes
  • Exposure to procurement & cost-saving projects
  • Month-end close & reporting experience essential
  • Excellent communication & stakeholder management skills
  • Willingness to travel to operational sites

    • Salary:
    Up to R45000 ctc
