Financial & Operational Accounting Responsibilities
- Perform day‑to‑day accounting and operational finance duties
- Process high volumes of transactions with accuracy and attention to detail
- Maintain accurate financial records and account reconciliations
- Assist with month‑end processes and related reporting
- Support variance analysis and ad‑hoc finance tasks
- Work closely with operational teams to support business activities
Systems & Process Support
- Work on Sage (current system) with involvement in the migration to Odoo
- Assist in streamlining and improving finance processes
- Ensure data integrity across financial systems
General Responsibilities
- Take ownership of responsibilities with minimal supervision
- Operate comfortably in a fast‑paced, high‑volume environment
- Contribute positively to a collaborative, growing team
Skills & Experience
- Strong operational accounting experience
- Proven experience handling high transaction volumes
- Strong organisational and time‑management skills
- High attention to detail and accuracy
- Experience in retail or similar operational environments highly advantageous
Qualifications
- CA(SA) candidates will unfortunately not be considered
- Sage Experience Required (Odoo Exposure Advantageous)
