Location: Middelburg
Hire Resolve has partnered with a leading supplier of stainless steel in our domestic market and the global arena. The client is currently looking for an Accountant – Accounts Payable candidate to join their team in Middelburg, Mpumalanga.
Responsibilities:
Supervise, train, and evaluate employees to ensure adherence to policies and procedures
Complete financial month-end and year-end tasks
Perform general ledger reconciliations
Prepare internal and external reporting, assist with audits
Assist with inquiries from suppliers
Ensure that processing is done correctly and payment terms are adhered to
Ensure compliance with AFRS and IAS
Ensure 100% compliance with VAT regulations
Requirements:
Managerial experience:
Supervise, train, and evaluate employees
Experience in completing financial month-end and year-end tasks
Experience with general ledger reconciliations
Experience in internal and external reporting and assisting with audits
Ability to assist with inquiries from suppliers
Ensure correct processing and adherence to payment terms
Knowledge of AFRS and IAS compliance
Knowledge of VAT regulations
Overtime may be required
