Location: Durban
A permanent position for a has become vacant within the motor industry. The successful incumbent will be responsible for:-
Key Responsibilities (includes but not limited to):
Full Accounting function. Preparation and processing of financial journals.
Manage month-end closing, reconciliations, and financial reporting.
Oversee annual audits
Ensure compliance with VAT, taxation, and statutory regulations.
Administer fixed assets, review invoices and payments, and support finance operations.
Assist the Finance Director in daily financial management and process improvements.
Provide backup for various finance functions as required.
Desired Profile – Experience, Knowledge and Skills required:
BCompt Degree (or equivalent) qualification.
3–5 years of financial accounting experience
Completing/ Completed articles
Fully computer literate. Advanced Excel skills.
Strong attention to detail.
Must have good finance knowledge and business operational acumen.
A strong individual who will make a positive difference to the department.
