NUTRI Feeds is one of the leaders in the manufacturing of animal feed in South Africa, we are also a world player and the first choice in animal feeds for pigs, sheep, poultry, dairy and beef cattle. The following position exists at our division in Viljoenskroon:
Minimum Requirements
Grade 12
Post Matric qualification in Production management or N2 Electrical or Mechanical will be advantageous.
Excellent Communication and People Management skills.
Strong Analytical and problem-solving skills.
Must be able to work overtime and a 3-shift system.
Computer/PLC literate.
OTHER REQUIREMENTS:
Strong administrative skills
Self-initiative, self-confident and firm personality
Good attention to details
Excellent planning, organising and time-management skills.
Duties and Responsibilities
Manage Production efficiencies.
Monitor and ensure that trucks load within the allotted time, with the correct type and tonnage of feed.
Ensure that Factory runs at the optimum uptime by timeously attending to production delays.
Manage Staff and maintain a high level of morale and discipline.
Plan and execute Production Plan to ensure high level of Customer service.
Ensure correct issuing & utilization of PPE.
Ensure employee compliance to the OSHAct.
Maintain a Housekeeping score of at least 80%.
Perform administrative work as required.
