Introduction

Coca-Cola Beverages South Africa (CCBSA) is offering an exciting opportunity in our Sales department for a talented Account Manager:
Horeca based in Pretoria. The successful candidate will report directly to the Trade Presence and Merchandising Manager and will play a key role in driving profitable sales and building long-term business relationships within the Horeca sector.

Key Purpose

The Account Manager will develop, implement, and maintain effective account plans to manage the profitable sales of CCBSA products. This includes the development and maintenance of new business relationships and opportunities, aiming to achieve customer excellence, brand loyalty, and profitable volume growth.

Key Duties & Responsibilities

Identify and implement new business opportunities within the Horeca sector.

Optimize customer service and strengthen relationships with clients.

Formulate and execute account reviews and account plans.

Manage and optimize key accounts and assets.

Generate orders and execute promotional activities.

Manage cash and credit accounts effectively.

Compile and present competitor reports.

Key Attributes & Competencies

Knowledge:

Sales and marketing principles and practices.

In-depth knowledge of CCBSA products.

TSP (Total Sales Process) principles.

Execution standards in merchandising and cooler management.

Trade replacement and order taking.

Credit management and basic finance and commercial knowledge.

Attributes:

Strong analytical and numerical skills.

Outgoing, confident, and able to build positive relationships.

Ability to negotiate and influence key stakeholders.

Team player who can also work independently.

Assertive, solutions-oriented, and innovative.

Responsible, dependable, and organized.

Good problem-solving ability and flexible in handling changes.

High energy levels, drive, and the ability to work under pressure.

Skills, Experience & Education

Qualifications:

Matric (Grade 12).

Completed 3-year sales/marketing qualification.

Experience:

Minimum of 2 years’ relevant FMCG experience in a sales/marketing environment.

Experience in the Horeca sector is an advantage.

Valid Code 08 driver’s license.

Computer literate or the ability to acquire relevant computer skills.
