ABAP Developer/Euros Jobs in Cape Town, South Africa at Parvana
Position: ABAP Developer (Contract – Euros)
This is a remote position.

What you will be doing:
Develop and maintain ABAP programs, reports, interfaces, and enhancements within the SAP ERP system.
Work closely with functional consultants to understand business requirements and translate them into technical specifications.
Design and develop solutions for SAP FICO modules, including GL, AP, AR, and CO.
Build and set up FI/CO Fiori apps in test and productive systems
Perform code reviews and ensure adherence to coding standards and best practices.
Set up of reporting structures – replacement of legacy reporting structures (Painter Reports) into the new Fiori Reporting structure.
Troubleshoot and resolve technical issues related to ABAP programs.
Provide technical support and guidance to end-users.
Creation of documentation for optimisation projects
Participate in project implementations and upgrades.
What our client is looking for:
A relevant tertiary degree would be beneficial (Computer Science, Information Technology, etc.)
3+ years of SAP ERP experience, specifically within SAP FICO.
Proficient in ABAP programming: reports, dialog, BAPIs, BADIs, Smart Forms, SAP Scripts.
Experienced in SAP debugging and performance tuning.
Knowledge of SAP Net Weaver is required.
SAP HANA knowledge is preferred.
Strong development and problem-solving skills.
Excellent communication skills.
Ability to work independently and collaboratively.
