Role Description
This full-time on-site role, located in Cape Town, requires 9 CCTV Operators to monitor, review, and manage security camera systems to ensure the safety and security of designated premises. Daily tasks include real-time surveillance of CCTV footage, prompt identification and reporting of suspicious activities, and maintenance of detailed activity logs. Operators will also be responsible for assisting in incident investigations and ensuring operational functionality of all surveillance equipment.
Qualifications
- Proficiency in CCTV monitoring and familiarity with security camera systems
- Attention to detail, strong situational awareness, and ability to handle emergencies promptly
- Good communication and reporting skills, including creating clear and precise activity or incident reports
- Technical aptitude to operate and troubleshoot surveillance equipment
- Ability to work in a team and maintain professional conduct in high-pressure situations
- Previous experience in security or law enforcement is an advantage but not mandatory
- Basic computer skills for data entry and report management
- Flexible working hours, including weekends and holidays, if required
- High school diploma or equivalent; additional security training or certifications is a plus
