About us
Johnson Truck Bodies, a Great Dane company, has been in Rice Lake, WI since 1932 and is well-known nationally for building premium thermal efficient and durable transportation equipment and Trail King Trailers.
Johnson Truck Bodies is actively seeking 1st Shift Painter to join our team.
Responsibilities include, but are not limited to:
- Proper use of coating measuring equipment; i.e. wet mill gauge, dry thickness gauge.
- Inspection of painted units for quality.
- Successfully prime and/or paint prepared surface to automotive level finish.
- Operation and maintenance of both cup/pressure pot and electronic proportioning paint systems.
- Understand and be able to properly mix coatings and catalyst according to specifications.
- Understand proper chemical disposal.
- Competency in use of automotive style spray paint equipment.
- Must be able to trouble-shoot paint equipment.
- Must demonstrate “finish quality” capabilities for spray painting.
Johnson Truck Bodies offers:
- STARTING WAGE of $21.37/hour, up to $24.12/hour
