【Position】
Household Goods Coordinator (Japanese Bilingual)
【Essential Duties】
The position performs packing, handling, loading, unloading, and storing of the customer’s belongings in a safe and efficient manner.
Will work closely with the Household Goods moving team as well as interact with customers on the job site
- Lead and coordinate with a moving team preparation and movement of customer household goods
- General Business support including Japanese/English translation
- Management of moving team to ensure packing, removing, and loading of the customer’s belongings
- Maintain a good working relationship with customers on site basis
- Establish and maintain a professional working relationship with the team
- Handle, carry, load and unload the customer’s belongings efficiently and safely complying with procedures.
- Pack and store the customer’s belongings in a safe and neat manner
- Arrange the necessary packing materials such as cartons, cushions, tools and instruments such as hand truck, panel dolly, and machine cart.
- Judge whether the regular packing in proper or special warehouse packing is required.
- Ensure items are moved with no damage during the move
- Ability to used assigned equipment such as forklift, dolly, etc. to move customer’s belongings to the designated storage place.
- Other duties as assigned for a successful and safe move
【Working Hours, Working style】
8:00-17:00

【Salary, Benefit】
$21-$24/hr (DOE)

【Qualifications】
English/ Professional Japanese speaking
- Significant or relevant or appropriate working experience preferred
- Able to read, write and speak in English and Japanese
- Good driving history
- Able to pass a background check
- Knowledge of material handling, warehouse operations and transportation systems
- Knowledge of OSHA safety rules
- Knowledge of inventory control procedure
- Knowledge of domestic and international transportation regulations
- Physical Requirements:
o Must be able to perform driving and physical moving necessary for the position.
o Available and capable of overnight travel
o Ability to work in all elements
- Ability to work closely with a team in a respectful and professional manner
- Ability to comprehend and follow instructions
- Ability to frequently stand, bend, twist, reach, lift, push, pull, carry heavy objects repeatedly
- Forklift experience a plus
- Computer experience outlook, Microsoft
- Ability to work overtime as needed

Pay: $43,000.00 – $49,000.00 per year
